Spice of Indian Begins Export Operations to Spain, Portugal and Greece

Spice of Indian, a Kerala-based spice exporter, has begun exporting to Spain, Portugal and Greece, expanding its presence in the European market.

ERNAKULAM, CA, INDIA, August 31, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Spice of Indian, a business-to-business spice export company operated by KSAR Inforcement OPC Pvt Ltd, has started exporting to buyers in Spain, Portugal and Greece, extending its existing presence in the European market this quarter.

The company, based in Kerala, ships spices and agricultural commodities including green cardamom, black pepper, turmeric, dry chilli, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cashew nuts and coconut. Before this expansion, Spice of Indian's export activity in Europe covered other countries within the region, alongside existing operations in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the United States.

The company said the move into Spain, Portugal and Greece follows inquiries from importers and distributors in those markets over recent months. Shipments to the three countries are being handled through the company's existing export documentation and logistics processes.

Spice of Indian holds a number of certifications connected to food safety and export compliance. These include ISO 22000 and HACCP, which are international food safety management standards; FSSAI registration, issued by India's Food Safety and Standards Authority; APEDA registration, issued by India's Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority; registration with the Spice Board of India under its CRES scheme; membership in the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO); MSME registration for small and medium enterprises; an Import Export Code (IEC) issued by India's Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT); and GST registration under India's Goods and Services Tax system.
